In Fall 2019 we were in the early talks of going on a long roadtrip exploring the states, visiting National Parks and camping along the way. And then…Covid. No worries! We spent 2020 having long distance Netflix dates and eloped in 2021. While deciding our next steps as we stuffed our faces with Texas BBQ, travel came back on the table. Honestly with us is travel ever truly off of the table?

Fall of 2021 we started planning our “Trek Across The Americas”. Starting with the where? And then the when? For how long? Airbnb or Hostel? We booked our first Airbnb in September, NYC for the entire month of May ’22. Off we were, booking a new Airbnb stay each month (because we had bills and hate seeing our savings decrease). Spring ’22 packing started and Offer Up became our weekend plans as we sold all of our stuff.

May 3rd 2022 finally arrived. As we dragged our mattress to the dumpster at 5am (Hard to sell a mattress on Offer Up), the trip began. Now you’re on our website following along on the journey. We hope you enjoy as we take you along for the ride. And who knows maybe this is only part one…
